Two sets of identical twins marry each other with identical pageboys, bridesmaids and even priests

A very special wedding, held in Thrissur, Kerala State India this week was everything Dinker and Dilraj Varikkassery (twin brothers) had ever dreamed of.

When they were teenagers the twin brothers decided they would marry identical sisters. The boys had been unable to be separated all through school, university and even after graduating college they are working in the same company. Until for the first time they were separated and designated to different ends of India.

Thereafter, twin brothers decided about finding identical sisters and wished to get married. But it was not easy, it took them five years to meet the identical sisters (Reena and Reema) who had similar family back ground.

Twin brothers created a group on facebook called All Kerala Twins Group. The aim was to get twin brides for them but they couldn’t find their perfect match. But then the twin brothers struck gold, finally met Reena and Reema through a ‘Matrimonial Portal’.

“When we met Reena and Reema, we knew it was them we were looking for all this while. Fortunately, they also had the similar feeling after meeting us,” Dilraj told the Mail Online.

“We had to keep searching the suitable boys for three years in a row. When we saw Dilraj and Dinker we nodded yes to each other. It was a wonderful experience.” Reena said.

Their only regret about the wedding was there weren’t more twins at the ceremony. It has a total of seven sets of identical twins attended, but they wished to have at least 12 present.

The couples set about finding twin priests to solemnize their wedding. The priests Rezi and Rozy Manaparambil travelled 600km from Chennai to Thrissur for the ceremony on November 8.
